WIND ENSEMBLE

Prerequisite: Previous instrumental training, teacher recommendation, and audition

Grades: 9-12

One Credit - Sequential (student can earn credit each year he/she takes the course)

Fees: $75 per year for exclusive instrument rental, $20 per year for shared (school only) use of instrument $20 per year for percussion use

Women in Wind Ensemble must pay a $20 dress rental fee or obtain their own approved black performance gown. Please get approval before making any permanent purchase!

The Wind Ensemble is the top Large Ensemble and requires an audition or the recommendation of the director to become a member. It rehearses and performs Band Repertoire in the 5-6 level of difficulty range. Each Wind Ensemble member is required to participate in the All District Auditions.
