SYMPHONIC BAND

Prerequisite - Two years previous instrumental training and/or approval of the band director. An audition is required

Grades: 9-12

One Credit - Sequential (student can earn credit each year he/she takes the course)

Fees: $75 per year for exclusive instrument rental, $20 per year for shared (school only) use of instrument $20 per year for percussion use

Women in Symphonic Band must pay a $20 dress rental fee or obtain their own approved black performance gown. Please get approval before making any permanent purchase!

The Symphonic Band is the intermediate Large Ensemble and requires the recommendation of the director to become a member. The Symphonic Band rehearses and performs Band Repertoire in the 3-5 level of difficulty range.
